3H Project: Objective 2 - Generate public awareness

Generate public awareness of the benefits of a comprehensive immunization program in Russia.

Who is responsible?

The Vlad-Eco Rotary Club is responsible for this component.

How and when will it be done?

This effort has already begun. When two Cameron Park Rotarians made a visit to Vladivostok in July 1999 under the 3-H planning Grant, the inoculation project received a lot of publicity. During the trip there was a meeting with Lt. Governor Gartman which was, in part, televised on all 5 TV channels there. And there was a media briefing at the end of the visit. As soon as the 3-H Grant is approved, the Vladivostok Rotary Clubs will begin a publicity campaign to educate the public and publicize the project. All forms of the media will be used. And this effort will continue throughout the project.
