3H Project: Monthly Report

June, 2002

Dear Friends,

We have just received an activity report from Vladivostok for April. As of that report we have inoculated 2039 children with MMR and 3000 children with hepatitis B vaccine. A different group of children receive MMR because it is given to children 1 year of age plus, and hepatitis B is given to children under 1 year of age. Within the next 2 weeks we will be placing the order for the next shipment of vaccines. It is expected to take 4 to 6 weeks for them to arrive in Vladivostok. On 20 June we plan to fly Evgenia (E.T,) to Cameron Park to visit our Rotary Club, coordinate our project, and attend our "Wine AT Serrano" fund raiser. We also look forward to a great visit with her over the weekend. The next trip to Vladivostok by Cameron Park Rotarians is planned for the last week in August 2002. We hope top solve all problem areas and develop a smooth path for the rest of the project. In addition we hope to have a big publicity event to showcase our project. Past R.I. Pres. Frank Devlyn is planning to join us And that will make it a very special occasion. We hope everyone has a grest summer. But please keep up the good work on our project.

Warm Regards, Bob and Tom
