Jennifer and Zach Pfeiffer, along with Rotarian and Interact advisor Dave Sargent, will present an update on the Interact Club at Ponderosa High School.
Jennifer, a teacher and faculty advisor, and her son, Zach, the club’s president, will share a brief history of how the Interact Club was successfully reinstated and what inspired them to help bring it back. The Pfeiffers, together with Dave, will narrate a slideshow highlighting the club’s first year, including key activities and two featured service projects.
They will conclude with plans for the coming year and extend an invitation for Rotarians to get involved and support the club’s continued growth.
A heartfelt thank you to Bill and Kelly Smyth, who graciously hosted a potluck social at their lovely home in El Dorado Hills. Members enjoyed pickleball and lessons, along with appetizers and adult beverages in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Big news from the 2026 Rotary multi-district conference at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Our club’s music contest winner, Lucas Dapremont, competed Saturday against 10 other area winners and took first place with his piano performance, earning a $1,000 award!
The Rotary Club of Cameron Park was also honored with a District RAVE Award recognizing our Community Foundation’s vocational grants program.
In other conference fun, our bowling team—President Adam, Sally Marshall, Gary Clarke, Dave Sargent, and Don Fuller—represented the club well. While they didn’t take home a trophy, their efforts supported the tournament’s goal of helping to strike out polio. The Petaluma club, who shared the lane with our team, captured the Best Dressed award and proved to be great company throughout the competition.
Please arrive early, serve as greeter, take attendance via the sign-in roster at the front desk, lead the pledge, introduce guests, provide words of wisdom, and other duties as requested. If you are unable to serve, it is your responsibility to find a replacement and notify President Adam.
