CASA Christmas Distribution : President Tiffany will talk about a fun gift giving tree for children in need at the CASA house. Location of the meeting is Cameron Park Country Club.
Sheriff John D'Agostini provided us with his very informative and entertaining annual update on the EDC Sheriff's Office.

Technology is providing a new way to assign deputies to beats. Mapping software indicates where clusters of crimes have occurred, and is likely to recur. Thus, extra deputies are assigned to those areas, and it seems to be working.
John was able negotiate with the board of supervisors to get funding for the additional 4 sheriff's techs that were needed to support the additional 4 deputies that he was allowed to hire.
Camp Fire: 3 trailers of supplies were sent up and mutual aid has been offered when requested.
PG&E provided poor communications in advance of the power shutdown they performed in El Dorado County.
People are encouraged to sign up for "Code Red" on the sheriff's web site to get information on where crime is occuring or other announcements from the Sheriff's Office.
There was a video shown of the initial tilt-up of walls for the new sheriff's facility. Move-in date is expected to be August 1, 2019. It is on schedule so far.
Tiffany Fagundes – A sign-up sheet is being routed for donations to the victims of the Camp Fire.
Amounts will be added to the respective member’s Club bill and a check for the total will be sent to District 5160.
- Information is needed about the fork lift used to decorate the Community Christmas Tree.
The lighting is scheduled for 11-30 at 5:00 PM.
Dave Sargent – The Christmas dinner committee will meet immediately after today’s Club meeting.
- 20 bottles of wine are needed for the live auction.
Bill Gallant – He and Bill Ettlich can use some help unloading 40 sacks of concrete mix at the Sky Theater tomorrow, 11-16 at 8:30 AM.
- A work party for the Sky Theater is scheduled for Saturday, 11-17, at 9:00 AM. Help needed.
