Progress House, Inc. was established in 1973 as a place where a variety of addictions can be identified and treated. They respond to the increasing numbers of residents who have addiction issues that are interfering with their quality of life and ability to contend with the issues facing them in their daily encounters.
Annie Winter, Human Resources Coordinator for Progress House, faces those increasing numbers on a daily basis. She has the responsibility for maintaining 24 hour/7day per week staffing for six-in- house facilities in El Dorado County with a total count of 80 beds. She is truly the face of Progress House whose mission "is to provide quality comprehensive services for persons and communities whose lives have been affected by addiction. We accomplish this by providing a complete continuum of comprehensive, evidence based services including detoxification, residential, outpatient treatment and transitional living."
